Ara practices professional photography,
specializing in portraiture, landscape, historical
monuments and still life. He photographs with
passion by seeing the special moment in each
subject. He finds the angle and technique that
does not upstage the subject matter. Instead, the
viewer is transported into the scene, standing
in the photographer shoes, seeing with his eyes
what Ara saw, before capturing the scene on film.

Ara has been living in Glendale, CA since
1979. He is a graduate of the Glendale College
School of Photography and participated in several
workshops and seminars. Ara’s photographs have
been exhibited at art galleries, photography contests,
and currently two photographs are displayed on the
international Library of photography website.
